Our very first date! February 22, He picked me up with flowers and surprised me with a delicious dinner and seeing the play “The Newsies”

1 week + 1 day after our first date we went to Lima Ranch and Kris asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes!

1 week more + 1 day more and we had the conversation. He said “I can’t help but feel like I’m falling in love with you”. My response, a few seconds later and beaming with joy was, “Same. Absolutely”.

An after work adventure turned into sitting by the river as the sun went down, listening to the rushing water, and enjoying being together.

Our one month anniversary. A drive in to see the movie Bumblebee. We had a blast just holding hands and sitting next to each other! So smitten and so happy!

Before our first trip to Napa, I stole Kris for a downtown Sacramento date! We went to the Delta King for dinner... which later would be part of our Engagement story!

Our first Easter and the day before our 2 month anniversary. A beautiful day filled with sweet reminders of Gods love and provision in our lives!

A dinner date night to watch my incredible friend play live music... and being asked how long we’ve been married. It didn’t take long for us to see it too ❤️

Our first concert, seeing NEEDTOBREATHE and watching Kris sing along to all the songs. Also, introducing our friends to why Kris calls me “wittle thumbs”!

Our first time traveling together in mid-May to visit Tennessee and meet all both our families. We were stoked... and someone was a little nervous. 😉

One of my favorite moments of our time in Knoxville was roaming downtown with my photographer friend and capturing us being us. He makes me laugh like none other!

Hanging out with both families for dinner was incredible. Our families got along (praise!) and I got to see Kris snuggle Lottie Lynn. All the good things!

We headed back to Redding with 3 blessings, 1 wedding ring set, and my Mom who was coming to visiting Redding for the first time!

The last day of my Mom’s visit was her birthday and Kris and I planned to take her into Old Downtown Sacramento for her birthday. Little did I know what else was planned!

This was after lunch on the Delta King! Josh & Ainsley had to leave early because they had “to pickup a headboard”. So we went and walked around downtown for a little while!

Mom had asked to see the Capital building so we drove up, notice the big event happening on the lawn. I thought we were just going to drive around it, and instead we parked and walked up to it!

We walked over to a beautiful little spot on the lawn, people came out from behind the pillars, Kris asked me to be his wife, I said YES, and we shared our first kiss! ❤️

Surrounded by friends and family, we celebrated our engagement on June 1, 2019!

My sweet Fiancé was so incredibly thoughtful to include our Redding family and My Mom in the surprise of our engagement. He did a terrific job, if I do say so myself ❤️

More dates, planning a wedding, finding our first home, and starting a life together, coming right up! We cannot wait to officially start our life together on October 19, 2019 ❤️
