We Eloped!

As some of you know, Kodi and I lived in Denver, CO. from June - September and it was an absolute dream. We made the decision to come home to Texas because all of our friends and family are here but a piece of our heart will always belong in CO. To represent that we decided to "elope" in Alma, CO. a week before we headed back to Texas. We had the pleasure of having my bestie Alexis Warthen marry us and the presence of her love Luke, and our siblings Justin Owens and Alexandra Owens. My dad's attendance was the best last minute heartfelt decision made between him and Kodi. We booked the most beautiful Airbnb in Alma, CO so that we could set a ceremony in the front yard surrounded by mountains. The special thing about a wedding like this is everyone takes part in the set up, cleaning, cooking, decorating etc. While I traveled to Breckenridge to get my hair and makeup done everyone at the Airnbnb set up our ceremony space and got themselves ready as well. It was so windy that some things we're falling over and I was told everyone searched around for beautiful rocks to help decorate and stabilize the ceremony space! That detail is so special to me because our wedding was truly full of love and everyone made it happen for us. Another detail to represent this is we had everyone including the pups sign our marriage certificate! We are so excited to finally get to celebrate this moment with all of you !
