Travel Note
Poulsbo, WA is northeast of Seattle just across the Puget Sound. From Seattle, there are two ways to get to there. 1. Drive around the Puget Sounds through Tacoma and back up to Poulsbo. 2 Take a ferry from Edmonds to Kingston then drive ~15 miles to venue - while this is a fun option, it can be a bit pricey ($22.25/car and drive + $9.95/passenger) and unpredictable. Tickets are only available on a first come first serve basis, so it is not uncommon to experience 1-2 hour delays in the summer. Please note that the last ferry leaves from Kingston at 11:10pm. I recommend option 2 as it is cheaper and often faster. Since the wedding venue is at a state park, Discover passes are required for all vehicles. Please bring one if you have one. If not, day passes are available at the Park.
Travel Note
I recommend staying in Poulsbo, WA near the venue or in Seattle if you'd like to spend time exploring the city before or after the wedding. The wedding venue closes at 8:30pm, so there should be sufficient time to travel back to Seattle after the reception if you wish to stay there. I have reserved 5 camp sites for folks that may be interested in conventional accommodations. Please let me know if you are interested in camping, so I can provide the details. If you are interested in staying at a hotel in Poulsbo, WA, I recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. See the link in the hotel description for a 10% discount.
