Forest Park is one of our favorite spots in the city! We lived in the DeBalivere neighborhood in our first apartment together right across from Forest Park. We spent hours walking around the park, talking about our future together. Grant proposed in forest park by the Muny pond. There are so many amazing and free things to do in the park. Our favorites include the zoo, art hill/museum and the boathouse!
The Hill is a classic Italian neighborhood in the heart of the city, and where we call home! You have to stop by and grab some toasted ravioli! Make sure to hit up one of the local Italian markets on your way out for some fresh finds! Our favorite restaurants are Pizzeria de Gloria, Gioia's Deli, and Anthonio's Taverna!
One of our favorite spots to grab a drink in the city. Fun Fact, we also had our first date and engagement party here!
City Foundry is a hot spot for shopping, dinning and entertainment! You can find us here grabbing a bite to eat in the food hall, watching a movie at Alamo Drafthouse or playing a round of mini golf at puttshack! We also recommend dinner and drinks at Expat.
Our favorite lunch spot that never gets old. Nothing beats a fresh loaf of sourdough from union loafers!
If you're in town on a Saturday morning, there's no better place to be than the tower grover farmers market!
You can't leave STL without a concrete from Ted Drewes! Some of the best custard around, and a true local staple!
A short 15 minutes drive out of the city, there's so much to do in Webster Groves. There are lots of cute shops and endless dinning options. Some of our favorite spots include: Bagel Union, Forth & Home, The Annex, and Frisco Barroom.
