Chicago has a 2 major airports - O'Hare is the best for most major flights. Uber/Lyft pickup available in Upper Terminal 2A at O'Hare. CTA Subway station is located in Terminal 3 of O'Hare Airport. Blue Line towards Forest Park | UIC-Halstead is the direction that will take you towards downtown Chicago. Approximately a 50 minute subway ride from the Airport to Washington stop (closest to hotel). The Washington stop is a 1 minute walk to the Hotel (Staypineapple). We recommend using the subway during peak rush hour traffic times!

Train

Amtrak (GRR - CHI)

Grand Rapids (GRR) Train Station Address: 440 Century Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 Chicago Union (CHI) Train Station Address: 225 S Canal St, Chicago, IL 60606 Approximately a 4 hour train ride; Pere Marquette Route will take you directly from Grand Rapids to Chicago Union Station (Downtown Chicago) Chicago Union Station is approximately 1 mile or an 8 minute cab ride to the hotel (Staypineapple) A great option for those traveling from Michigan who would like to avoid having a car in downtown Chicago!

Train

Carroll Avenue Train (Michigan City, IN - Millennium Station, Chicago)

Another option for the Michiganders traveling into Chicago. The Carroll Ave Station in Michigan City, IN offers more flexible train schedules than the Amtrak. You are able to drive & park your car at the Carroll Ave station for the weekend (without paying chicago parking fees!) and ride the train into Millennium Station (151 East Randolph Street, Chicago) The Millennium Station is approximately a 6 minute walk to the Staypineapple hotel.
