Semi-formal, we ask please no blue jeans. And if this wasn't common sense, no white clothing please :)
That would be a PHAT no my friends. We have hired a photographer who will be dutifully taking pictures of our special moment together, and we don't want to see any photos of our guests with their noses in their phone or blocking their face. But once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many as you like throughout the night!
As mentioned in our invites, we politely ask that any guests with young children refrain from bringing them! We would like for this day to be as relaxing and enjoyable for all guests as possible. Ship the kiddos off with Aunty Muriel or Uncle Frank for the night and get a little crazy! (But not too crazy ;)
Absolutely! Our wonderful DJ will have a phone number guests can text during the reception to request your latest favorite hit or nostalgic oldy. The only thing we ask is that guests refrain from requesting too explicit music. (I know you Thursday night Brady's friends love a good clubbing song) Feel free to request bumping and grinding music within reason, as Dennis and Becca's nieces, the flower girls, will only be 6 & 9. The Bride and Groom want to refrain from mentally scarring them as best as possible ;) P.s. if you are unsure about a song, go ahead and request it. Our DJ will know what we do and don't want played during the reception. Never hurts to try!
5. ABSOLUTELY NOT YA DINGBAT. Not saying we think anything like this would happen, but if it crosses anyones mind to do something as disrespectful and insensitive as those things, be warned. The bride will absolutely throw chairs at your faces and kick you out of the wedding. So please wait for another time to pop the question or announce the arrival of your growing goblin :) <3
