We met on our first day of high school in freshman theology. Although we both were crushing on each other after we first met, it took three years of sharing classes, going to prom together, and encouragement from our mutual friends before we could see that we belonged together.
Caleb asked Becca to go to a 4th of July festival with him. Becca got lost trying to find Caleb in the crowd and almost went home! Luckily she found him, and they spent the evening going through the festival and watching the fireworks show. At the end of the night they walked back to their cars, and as they were walking, Caleb told Becca how he felt about her and asked her to be his girlfriend!
The way to Becca's heart is through food so naturally, Caleb asked her to have a nice dinner with him downtown but wouldn't tell her where they were going. Becca got ready for their date and it wasn't until they were minutes away that he told her where they were eating: Harry & Izzy's, a steakhouse in Indianapolis. While they were finishing up dinner, Caleb asked Becca if she'd like to go to Monument Circle to see if the Christmas Lights were still up. There they walked around until Caleb suggested they take a picture in front of the monument. In between takes, Caleb switched the camera over to video and started recording. After telling Becca how much he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her, Caleb got down on one knee and pulled out the ring!
