Restaurants & Places To See

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Shuling Cheung and Alan Nawfel Khedairy
Here are a few of our all time favorite restaurants and places to visit:
2120

2120

2120 6th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121

Located just next to the Amazon Spheres, 2120 has a great menu and a decent wine list. A good restaurant if you’re visiting South Lake Union! On Eater's Top 50 Places to Eat in Seattle in December, 2022.

Aerlume Seattle

Aerlume Seattle

2003 Western Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121

Sweeping views of the Seattle Waterfront. Go for dinner or a sunset cocktail, the views (and food) are divine!

Seattle - Bainbridge Ferry

Seattle - Bainbridge Ferry

Seattle - Bainbridge Ferry, Bainbridge, WA

Yes, we put the Ferry down as a must-visit. If you’ve never been, we highly suggest this 30 minute passenger or car ferry for a day trip to downtown Bainbridge Island. The few blocks of walkable streets are replete with cafes, wine tasting rooms, breweries, and great food options. We LOVE day trips to Bainbridge with our dogs! You'll also witness the most spectacular view of the Seattle skyline from Elliot Bay on the way there and back.

Bowriders Grill

Bowriders Grill

101 Northeast Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98105

Ben (Becca's brother) and Becca love this hidden little secret, a stone’s throw away from Gasworks Park. The casual and delicious seafood fare and beer selection are just cake toppers for the location and view. (This is located right next to the restaurant Westward, which everyone also loves.)

Cafe Juanita

Cafe Juanita

9702 Northeast 120th Place, Kirkland, WA 98034

Worth booking ahead of time if you're ready to spend on a memorable culinary experience. A beautiful northern Italian fine dining establishment in Kirkland, where we live. We love the extensive wine menu with great pairings, and may enjoy it just a tad bit more than Seattle’s esteemed Canlis restaurant. Definitely look into the restaurant's claim to fame, Chef Holly Smith and her incredible menu.

Deep Dive

Deep Dive

620 Lenora Street, Seattle, WA 98121

Another Chef Renee Erickson establishment we love. A dark, ritzy bar nestled in the base of the Amazon Spheres. We love it for their incredibly creative drinks, art, and decor. Snacks are available too.

Kerry Park

Kerry Park

211 West Highland Drive, Seattle, WA 98119

Becca's first home is a few blocks away - and she went to university nearby! This was a spot her and her girlfriends grew up passing by often. A quintessential view of Seattle and Elliot Bay (and Becca and Alan's third date spot, Toulouse Petit, is a few minutes drive away / 10 minute walk down hill).

Tamari Bar

Tamari Bar

500 East Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98122

We love Japanese food — especially street food — and Tamari Bar delivers. (We promise it isn't just sashimi and sushi!!) Located in Seattle’s hip Capitol Hill neighborhood. You won’t be disappointed! We love making a trip to Seattle for Tamari Bar.

The Walrus and the Carpenter

The Walrus and the Carpenter

4743 Ballard Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

One of our favorite oysters 🦪 and Champagne 🍾 spots! Owned by Seattle’s local Chef Renee Erickson, this place is located in the historic Ballard neighborhood and never disappoints.

Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge

Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge

601 Queen Anne Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109

Our third date spot! We love this joint for its casual yet upscale French Cajun food — seafood, drinks, and incredible brunch, happy hour, and late night menu. A few minutes walk from Kerry Park and the Space Needle! Seriously soooo gooood.

Un Bien

Un Bien

6226 Seaview Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

The reviews speak for themselves. Best juicy, meaty, yummy sandwiches you’ll find. We LOVE IT. Originally Paseo (Paseo still exists but, local Seattlites know to go to Un Bien) -- which was one of Anthony Bourdain's fav. Seattle spots in No Reservations.

Westward

Westward

2501 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103

Chef Renee Erickson strikes again! One of our favorite seafood joints, located right on the water. (And LITERALLY right next to Bowrider's Grill. Go to both!!) Great view, great food, great drinks.

Gas Works Park

Gas Works Park

2101 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103

If you’ve ever seen 10 Things I Hate About You, this is the location of the paintball fight between Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles. It has one of the best views of Lake Union and the Seattle Skyline! Five minutes walking distance from great bars and restaurants around the corner.
