In November 2021, Becca and Aidan matched on Hinge and quickly took a liking to each other. Within their first year, they ran 3 races together (including a marathon), travelled to visit friends around the country, moved in together, and adopted their fur baby, Zofia. Year 2 revolved around raising Zofia, who sometimes proved to be a little crazy. They still found time to spend with family and friends. Becca was peer pressured into racing her first triathlon and decided to take a lovely trip to Minneapolis for Aidan to run a 5k (Becca's race was cancelled). Year 3 was the year that Becca and Aidan embraced their Millennial Dog Parent status by completely basing their calendars around Zofia's friends. This year was the year of races, with Becca completing 6 and Aidan completing 5. They travelled to 7 states together (California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, South Carolina, Colorado, Rhode Island, Virginia). This year also brought on the new chapter of engagement, when Aidan proposed at Verterra Winery in Michigan. Year 4 has gotten off to a slower start, with less traveling and fewer races while they work on planning a wedding and trying to move. But, that doesn't mean they don't have big plans for 2025.
