We met in the same way many couples meet in the digital era... We met on an App, Bumble to be specific. For Adolph, the moment he laid eyes on her he knew this could be something special. She has a beautiful smile, a great profile mentioning food and cooking, and the icing on the cake.... She has a German Shepherd!!! How could he not swipe right? For Becca, she had actually come across Adolph's Bumble profile in 2021. Because of needing "single" time to focus on God and thinking he could break her heart (his first picture basically looked like he was a model), she swiped left!! In October of 2022, being ready to date again, she jumped back on Bumble and came across Adolph's profile again. She swiped right after his funny profile, cute pictures, and having a good feeling! After a couple of messages and a couple of weeks.... we finally met up for our first date at Flying Dutchman Spirits. We closed down the bar and didn't realize it till we were told they were closing... Hmm, something right? Our second date wasn't until 2 weeks later. During that time, Becca had the flu and was crazy enough to get on a phone date with Adolph. We discovered how faith was important to us, our values, our goals, and how much we matched up. From there the rest is history! We strengthened our foundation in Christ, grew our relationship, and talked about the future. Adolph proposed on May 2nd, 2023 and we cannot wait for what God has in store for us!
