Becca and Kelsey friendship was established in 2002 when Becca thought it would be "super cool" to introduce herself by commenting on her own hair. Since then, they have stayed close friends despite being states away for most of their friendship. We are honored that Kelsey will be standing up with us on our special day!
Ryan Ward

Ryan is Becca's younger brother. Ever since the first time James visited Maine with Becca, Ryan has been welcoming. Once Becca and James moved to Boston, they moved one street away from Ryan and Renee. This led to may adventures together and solidified James and Ryan's friendship. James couldn't imagine our wedding day without his future brother-in-law.
Caisee Fogel

Through bonding over music and their Algae and Fungi course, Caisee and Becca became fast friend during their time at Roanoke College. They would regularly play music together, chat over a nice cup of tea or coffee, and studying together. Although they have been states apart since college, they regularly skype with a cup of tea and their cats. They have also traveled distances to attend concerts for some of their favorite musicians. Becca knew that should couldn't say "I do" without Caisee by her side!
Renee LeBaron

When asked for a comment on Renee, James replied "She's family. She's good people!". As the only other person crazy enough to join Becca's family, James and Renee have bonded over joining the family. Renee is always up for an adventure around New England, always sharing baked goods, and has been a true friend to both James and Becca as they settled into life in Massachusetts. We are both so happy to have her as part of our day!
Allison Scherer

Allison has been Becca's work bestie at MGH. They actually interviewed for their jobs on the same day and after starting, bonded over being recently graduated PhD. Allison is always up for lunch conversation, coffee adventures, and sharing pictures of our cute pets! Our love of science and Maine made for an easy friendship. We can't wait for her to stand with us as we say I do!

Emily has been one of Becca's closest friends since their first week at Roanoke College. Becca and James attribute their relationship to a Boston Bruins game in Raleigh, NC. As the friend that accompanied Becca to that game, it is only fitting that she officiate the marriage ceremony!
