Denver International Airport is the closest airport to Breckenridge.
We highly recommend renting a car at the airport. Uber and Lyft can get extremely pricey to get to the mountains.
It will take approximately 1.5 hours down I-70. It's 106 miles.
Sapphire Point Overlook sits between Keystone and Breckenridge on Swan Mountain Road, at an elevation of 9,500 feet. The overlook offers a stunning view of Dillon Reservoir, you can view more here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/whiteriver/recarea/?recid=40879
Most things in the town are walking distance on Main Street, but the town has a free shuttle. You can find out more here: https://www.breckfreeride.com/home
There are only 22 parking spaces as it is a public space so others can be there too. We highly encourage carpooling with a full car, it's only 15 minutes to the spot and then a short walk to the overlook where we will get married.
Whatever makes you feel comfortable! It's October in the mountains so you'll probably want to wear a jacket of some kind! You'll also have a short walk on gravel so we don't recommend heels.
Yes! We're buying out BoLD restaurant & bar and will have a limited menu. You'll be able to order your entree there but there will also be passed apps, drinks, and dessert.
Breckenridge is under a mask mandate and you will be required to wear your mask in the hotel common areas, any other local businesses, and on Main Street. We also have several immune-compromised attendees so we ask you to please be respectful to everyone. You're more than welcome to wear your mask during the reception and at the ceremony. Being vaccinated is appreciated.
