It is suggested guests bring: warm layers and a hat, gloves, warm socks and shoes that are comfortable, sunscreen, stomach medications and electrolyte solutions (hello, altitude!), sunglasses, and any other items you will need for your activities in Estes Park.
Please, do not pack or bring gifts! Your presence is, truly, our present.
Please visit our "Travel" page to see options available. The best option for those not driving would be to fly into Denver, then take a car, bus, or chatter service into Estes Park.
It will be off-season in Estes Park, so the good news is that tourism season won't be an issue. This does mean that certain businesses are closed, close early, etc. However, please check the "Things To Do" tab on our page for ideas!
Estes Park itself does not have a dispensary yet, however, on the way from Denver to Estes Park, there are at least three prominently signed dispensaries that you can’t miss. Look for the green “first aid” signs. You can't miss them. Please note that The Stanley Hotel doesn’t allow smoking of any kind inside of the hotel, but the grounds of the hotel are expansive. Additionally, please bear in mind that the altitude of Estes Park (about 2,500 feet higher than Denver) will definitely impact your typical tolerance of substances. Beverages and treats will all pack almost twice the "punch" as they do in Texas.
