On the night before an Albanian wedding, each member of the couple gathers separately with their family and friends. This is a time for reminiscing, celebrating, sharing stories and blessings, and offering toasts. Marsel's celebration will take place in his home village south of Tirana, and Becca's side will gather at Hotel Liss in Lezhë. Come with an appetite and be ready to celebrate!

Festive Spring Attire

Join us at 5:30 by the pool for cocktails and light refreshments. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 on a patio just a short walk from the reception area. It will be in both English and Albanian, with a few short readings, our vows, and the exchange of rings. We’re so grateful to share this moment with our family and friends!

Festive Spring Attire

At 7:00, join us in the glasshouse beside the pool to celebrate! Albanian weddings are often a little less structured than Western ones, with food and dancing woven together throughout the evening. After our first dance, we will invite everyone to join in for Valle, a traditional Albanian group dance. The steps are simple, and it is all about joy and inclusion rather than precision. If you would like a preview there is a short video tutorial in our FAQ, but no practice is required. Dinner courses will be served intermittently between dancing.
