It was a cold, dreary Thursday in January. January 19, 2017 to be exact. Morgan was home, bored, and looking for something to do and saw an event pop up on her phone and thought, "why not?" Hana had been out with her brother enjoying live music, and he suggested, "let's go do karaoke!" Neither of them would have decided on Thursday night to go out, but something led them to Club Sway to the weekly Dragaoke night. Morgan saw Hana in the crowd, and almost chickened out on singing, but chose to sit, awkwardly, in a chair to sing her sub-par rendition of "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. While singing, she could hear Hana singing along with her. Shortly thereafter, Hana sang the most impressive version of "Let 'Er Rip" by the Dixie Chicks. Despite her loathing of country music, Morgan knew there was something special about the person singing it. After a trip outside to take a phone call, Morgan returned, and Hana was gone. Morgan asked the other patrons, "who was that girl?" and had no luck; she resorted to the option of last resort and desperation and found the karaoke sign up sheet and found the name of the mystery woman. Not 5 minutes later, Hana received a message on Facebook, and the rest was history.
