Meet us in the Valley!

Our story began in the most unexpected way — 30,000 feet in the air! In November 2021, Kevin was on a flight from Denver to Phoenix when he struck up a conversation with a stranger in his row. That stranger just happened to be Bec’s dad, Ed. They bonded over shared ties to Arizona State University and the construction world after both attending an industry conference. Before the plane even landed, Ed had taken Kevin’s photo and decided his daughter had to meet him. After the flight, Ed showed Bec the photo and said, "If you don’t date Kevin, I’m going to date Kevin!” — and then texted Kevin’s boss (shoutout Bob!) to get more info so she could find him. Bec found Kevin on Instagram, he slid into her DMs (going straight for a date — since he already knew all the answers thanks to her dad!), and the rest was history. We made things official in December 2021, and three and a half years later, Kevin proposed during THE Coldplay concert (if you know, you know) — a band that holds a special place in both of our hearts.
