We chose a cruise wedding to make our wedding a true vacation! While we met in Hudson Valley, New York, our family and friends are located all over the country. As such, we struggled to find the perfect venue location that could accommodate and entertain our guests, while also being child-friendly. Utopia of the Seas will require some travel from all of our guests, but will allow everyone aboard to kick back, relax, and enjoy their vacation while also participating in our wedding celebration!
Reservations can be made at your leisure, understanding that prices may increase as the ship nears capacity.
Yes, our wedding and all festivities on Utopia of the Seas will be family-friendly! Lumi and Ella are ready to celebrate with old and new friends, alike!
The wedding ceremony will be held onboard on Saturday, April 26th at 12:00pm local time while the ship is docked in Nassau, with a reception immediately following. While you may have time before the ceremony to explore the port, we have found there isn't much to do in Nassau outside of the major resorts (i.e. Atlantis or Baha Mar). In addition, we will plan for optional social gatherings throughout the cruise, allowing our group to get to know each other while we eat, drink, and be married!
You have several options to get to Port Canaveral: 1. Rent a car at Orlando International Airport. The drive to Port Canaveral is about 40 minutes and parking at the Port is $27 per night. 2. Utilize a shuttle service. We have used GoPort in the past and highly recommend their round trip shuttle service. 3. Book a ride with Uber or Lyft. Pricing varies based on ride demand.
