Ian's Summer Camp Friend Sam and Ian met at Camp Greystone, where Caroline later also got to know Sam. During the school year, Ian and Sam would plan weekend trips to see each other, and have become the best of friends. There is no dance party without Sam!

Caroline's College Friend Anna and Caroline lived together for three years at Appalachian, and even lived together in Raleigh! Anna has a heart of gold and really loves us. She is one of the most thoughtful and affirming people we know, and we love that she will bring so much love and meaning to our wedding.

Ian's Childhood Friend Ian and Landon were tennis partners until they separated for college. Landon's family is Ian's second home, and Ian's family is Landon's. Over the years, though our lives have never brought us to the same place, Landon has invested in us and takes time to care for us, which we love!

Always up for an adventure, Shannon loves to travel, and also loves being snuggled up at home with her friends and family. Ian's College Friend While Ian and Jamie were great buddies in college, he also grew up with Caroline in Fayetteville! Jamie is one of those friends that calls you just to say he loves you. We love the way Jamie is intentional with his friends, but we love his hugs more than anything. With Jamie, you are sure to get some good laughs and feel like you've known him for years.

Caroline's Niece Hailey is best. We have loved watching Hailey grow up, and Ian was able to spend a lot of time with her when he lived in Charlotte to complete his student teaching! We love when Hailey laughs, and when love to spend time with her. She brings Joy to all of the Wheeler family in a way that she will never understand, and she is a bridesmaid we could never live without!

Ian's Ukrainian Friend Roma is Ian's Ukrainian brother! Though Roma cannot be with us on our wedding day, he will be a groomsman in spirit! Ian and Roma talk almost every day, and their friendship is special and unique. We love that Roma invests so much time into his communities (and into us), and we love the way he laughs and tells us all the time how much he loves us. We will miss him!
