FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to Peyton or Peirson.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Click the RSVP tab and enter your full name. After selecting your party, mark each person appropriately as "Will Attend" or "Will Not Attend". Please ensure you RSVP before October 1st.

Question

What if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by October 1st, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to be celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This will mean you will not allowed to show up to our day, and no accommodations will be made for you.)

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to attend our wedding, please indicate "Will Not Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Will Attend", but can no longer make it, please notify Peyton or Peirson as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have decided to limit our wedding to those formally listed on the invitations. It will be noted on your invitation if you have a guest/plus-one allocated to you. Thank you for respecting our wishes!

Question

Is this event child friendly?

Answer

We have decided to reserve our wedding celebration for adults only (18+) with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this as a chance for a special date night! We appreciate you making arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see everyone dressed up with us! Join us wearing New Years Eve Formal/Evening Wear. This will be the glamourous New Years Eve party shown in movies! To effectively capture the New Years Eve vibe, attire examples include but are not limited to: velvet, satin, and sequins. With colors including black, jewel tones, metallics, and sparkles.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: Whites, Ivories, and Creams.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our evening will begin at 7:45pm and we ask that you adhere to this timeframe. You may arrive earlier to give yourself time to park, sign the guest book, and grab a drink.

Question

What if I am running late?

Answer

Our event begins with a mingling cocktail hour, so tardiness hinders your access to cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be served promptly at (INSERT TIME). Unfortunately if you are not seated by then, you will miss the event.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! There will be a fully stocked bar for guests to purchase any alcohol! There will be champagne and seltzers as well. We ask that you be patient and respectful to our bartender.

Question

Is the wedding backwards?

Answer

Yes! the order of events for our wedding will be: Cocktail Hour, Reception, Ceremony. Our day will begin with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and mingling. Our reception will have dancing, speeches, and dinner. All leading up to our ceremony. Count down to the new year with us as we start our new lives as husband and wife.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our reception will be held indoors and our ceremony will be in an outdoor space nearby. Coats or scarves may be needed depending on the weather.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged" ceremony, with no phones or cameras in use. We have hired professionals to capture this moment and we would like for our guests to be fully present with us. We aim to provide the perfect atmosphere for all of our guests to have a special and memorable midnight New Years Eve kiss!

Question

Can I share pictures of your big day on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not share any photos on social media of the wedding until either Peyton or Peirson has had the chance to do so first.
