Flight
Flights booked should be made to arrive at Calgary International Airport in Alberta, Canada (YYC). For new travelers please be mindful that there is a restriction on how many fluid ounces of liquids can be carried on to the airplane. No more than 3.2-ounces in no more than 1-quart bag per passenger. It is also suggested to arrive three hours prior to your international flight to ensure sufficient time to check bags and go through security. If traveling from the United States, we would like to remind you that a current passport will be a required form of identification to travel into Canada. Please check well in advanced to see whether you will need to renew or apply for a passport. Allow up to 2 months to obtain a current passport as they can take a while to process.
Rental Car
Transportation will be needed to get from the Calgary International Airport to Downtown Banff. It is recommended to coordinate with others to help reduce cost and enjoy each other’s company as you make your drive to one of the most beautiful mountain towns.

Travel Note
Example Travel Plan: Fly into Calgary Airport (YYC). Rent a car or pre-arrange bus travel. Takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minute drive to downtown Banff. Downtown Banff, Canmore, and Emerald Lake Lodge all are located within Banff National Park which requires an admission pass (noted below). Wedding day: Sunday, Sept 1, 2019, it takes about 60-70 minutes to drive to Emerald Lake Lodge. Banff Downtown is located in the Banff National Park which requires a daily admission pass. Adult: $9.80, Senior: $8.30, or most cost effect, doing the Family Pass: (group up to seven people in a car): $19.60 (Canadian Dollar).
