Jessica (The Beauty) and Frank (The Beard) met while working together at Lincoln Middle School. At the time, Frank was an ISS teacher and Jessica was a paraprofessional in the ASD program. This wasn't your typical "love at first sight" scenario though. In fact, Jessica found Frank to be quite loud and outspoken at first. "Who the hell is that?", Jessica would often think to herself. As time went on, Jessica got to know Frank's quieter, sweeter side. Two of Jessica's students in the ASD program gravitated towards Frank (and he towards them), and they started visiting each other's classrooms more and more often. Talk about a middle school crush! After hearing Jessica vent about some things in her apartment that needed fixing, Frank made it known that he was a handyman. Let's just say that Jessica accepted his services...and the rest is history!

If you know Jessica and Frank, you know how much they love a good adventure! On a warm, sunny day in June, they set out to hike the "Stairway to Heaven" trail. Little did Jessica know that Frank planned to propose once they reached the viewpoint. As they began to approach it, Frank hurried along the trail, leaving Jess behind (to catch her breath, of course). When she finally caught up to him, he was waiting for her on one knee. They say the best view comes after the hardest climb. Frank asked Jessica to be his wife, and she said "YES"! The sun wasn't the only thing shining on their hike that day!
