Welcome to our Wedding.

Four years of high school and barely two conversations. Fast forward 6 years and we are at the same bar; him out with his friends, me out celebrating my friend’s birthday. My friend and I cross our sticks across the pool table and go to refill our drinks. Two minutes later I turn around and who is rolling the pool balls across the table? Devon. I said, “Hey! You messed up my game” (although let’s be honest, I SUCK at pool, so there wasn’t really anything to mess up). He put his hands up and said, “my bad.” We were both laughing. About 15 minutes later he came over with a drink for my friend for her birthday, and 4 quarters for me to pay for a new game of pool. He left the bar with his friends about a half an hour later. Soon enough my phone buzzes with a notification from none other than Devon himself, inviting me to “come out sometime.” We talked most of that weekend and the following week and then decided to go out to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Abel's. And that’s where it all started. Now it's been over 10 years since high school, almost half of them together. From high school to now, we have seen each other grow and become better versions of ourselves. Abel's has become a staple in the home we have built together with Mayhem and our Harry Potter named fishies. We are so excited to share a little part of our life’s journey with you.
