Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Both venues are wheelchair accessible. The ceremony will be held at the pergola at Cacapon Resort State Park, 818 Cacapon Lodge Dr, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411. The reception will be held at The Bath House, which can be found at the same address within the park limits. Signage will be posted to help navigate from the ceremony to the reception.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Driving is the easiest way to get from the ceremony space to the reception space; transportation will not be provided.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Both the ceremony space and the reception space have large parking lots available directly outside of the venues for easy access. No parking passes are needed.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors with an available indoor plan for acclimate weather. The reception will be held indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We are working on reserving a room block at Cacapon Resort State Park hotel.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail style attire is requested for the guest’s dress code. All colors are welcome (other than white), the bridal party will be wearing sage green.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one/am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Plus ones and children will only be allowed if they are included on your invitation. For further questions about this, please contact the bride.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Hor d’oeurvres will be served during the cocktail hour in between the ceremony and the reception, this includes a crudites tray, charcuterie board, Swedish meatballs, and finger sandwiches. Dinner will be a buffet consisting of Italian lasagna, Barbecued ribs, and Norwegian Salmon with sides of broccoli, parsley potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and salad. Drinks provided will include soda, lemonade, iced tea, and coffee.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Alcohol will be served at the wedding via two drink tickets per adult over the age of 21, with a cash bar to follow for those interested in having more than two alcoholic beverages. Please bring your ID if you plan to drink at the wedding, bar will accept cash only after drink tickets have been used (no card reader)

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding? Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

You are more than welcome to take photos during the reception; however, we request your full attention during the ceremony. Social media postings are allowed after the wedding has concluded.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon and house funds.

Will the ceremony have guests seated or standing?

Answer

Chairs will be available for those with physical limitations and the elderly. All other guests will be asked to stand for the duration of the ceremony.
