Please RSVP by March 10th.
They are very close -- Weaverville is a 10 minute drive from downtown Asheville. We have reserved blocks of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Weaverville, as well as at Element in downtown Asheville. There are many short term vacation rentals available in the area as well -- this may be the way to go for families and large groups. Keep in mind that Weaverville has a 10 PM noise ordinance in place, so bars and restaurants will close at that time. The area has Uber, Lyft and local app AVL Ride readily available for transport.
Dress code is formal (suits for men, longer dresses or jumpsuits for women). When choosing shoes, be aware that you will be walking on grass for parts of the event.
Yes, both events will be at the Weaver House.
Please aim to arrive between 5-5:15 pm. The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm.
This depends on the weather. The ceremony will be outside in the Weaver House garden, unless we expect rain, in which case it will move inside the Weaver House. The reception will be inside the Weaver House.
In April, Weaverville, NC, typically experiences mild and spring-like weather, making it a lovely time to visit! Daytime highs are usually in the 60s to low 70s°F with cooler evenings, typically in the 40s to 50s°F. It’s a comfortable range for outdoor activities and enjoying the spring scenery, but it can feel a bit chilly at night, so you might want to bring a light jacket or sweater.
We love kids, but have limited space available at the venue. We ask that you please not bring children older than 6 months unless we have specifically invited them to participate. If you have questions about this, please reach out.
