This is where we'll have our ceremony but if you're looking for something nice to do we always recommend a visit here to look at their beautiful gardens.
One of the nicest areas in Stockholm for a walk, museums, and coffee. Museums on Djurgården: ABBA The Museum – Fun and interactive, even if you’re not a huge fan. (Bea's favourite! 😻 ) Thielska Galleriet – Beautiful art museum. (Ville's favourite! 😻 ) Vasa Museum – The famous 17th-century ship, incredibly well preserved. Skansen – Open-air museum with Swedish history, animals, and great views. Nordic Museum – Nordic culture and history, design, and everyday life. Junibacken – Based on Astrid Lindgren’s stories (especially nice if you have kids). Prince Eugen’s Waldemarsudde – Art, gardens, and sea views. Liljevalchs – Contemporary art exhibitions. Pro-tip: Take the ferry from Dalénum on Lidingö to Djurgården. Fika at Blå Porten or Rosendals Trädgård.
If you have time, we really recommend heading out into the Stockholm archipelago. Sandhamn is an easy and beautiful option. You can also take a boat trip from AGA straight from Lidingö. We are organising a boat tour on Sunday. Email us if you want to join!
One of our favorite museums in the city. A beautiful building with classic art, design, and a very good café. (Ville's all time favourite museum in Stockholm! 😻 )
Best vegan option for a quick lunch. (Bea recommends Knivsöder! 😻 )
Pretty restaurant close to the venue.
A cozy café on Lidingö that’s perfect after a walk or light hike. Great for fika or lunch. Recommend combining with a hike. Another option is Långängen's café in this area.
A very hyped pizzeria on the island.
Go here for best cinnamon buns.
The best cookies in Stockholm!
Another great bakery for buns.
For a quick lunch: order the vegan bowl (vegan kebab salad). Bea eats it at least once a week when she’s in Stockholm (😻!).
