Things To Do

If, by chance, you'd like to spend a few days on vacation in Salento, in this section you'll find a few helpful tips!
Question

Answer

All beaches here are stunning, but to enjoy them at their peak, it's important to check the wind conditions. For this reason, we recommend following Salentoventiemari on Instagram. Every evening, they post a small map with sea forecasts for each beach. That said, our favorite beaches are: Porto Miggiano, Torre Pali (Tropical), Otranto (Fuorirotta), Lido Pizzo, Punta Suina, Acquaviva, Porto Badisco, and Orte (best accessed by the sea).

Question

Answer

Beyond the sea, there are several places that deserve to be visited including Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, Nardò and Specchia. However, every small town in Salento hides its own little treasures waiting to be discovered!

Answer

As you know, eating and drinking are two of our greatest passions. For aperitivo, don't miss Cotriero, a beach bar near Gallipoli where you can enjoy a fantastic sunset. On the Adriatic coast, we recommend the Anam Terrace, or for a more laid-back vibe, you can have an aperitivo on the rocks at Porto Miggiano (at La Baia dei Venti). For dinner, our top picks are: - Vardaceli (Castiglione), - Locanda Levante (Tricase), - La Piazza (Poggiardo), - Marevivo (Castro), - Origano Osteria (Minervino), - Sinòdia (Corigliano d'Otranto)
