Start your day with great coffee for a great cause
Try a specialty latte!
We recommend Oyster Point Tours - ask for Bill or Palmer as your tour guide
Feeling more cultured? Enjoy the Gibbes Museum of Art and the dozens of galleries in the French quarter
This is Bea's walk of choice - stroll up and down king street and you're sure to find some amazing boutiques! We recommend stopping by Madison Mathews, 120% and Charleston Shoe Company
Prefer a boozy city tour? You can hop around Palmetto Brewery, Edmund's Oast Brewery, Tradesman Brewery, Fatty's Beer works, Revelry & Munkle. Ready for something harder? Check out High Wire Distilling (you'll see their bottles all over the city)
This is the park where Garrett proposed! A beautiful place to stroll and right by Rainbow Row.
A must-see colorful street! But don't stop here, make sure to walk through all the beautiful streets in the neighborhood to see the true Charleston charm.
Want to spend the day fishing? Look no further!
Great option if you want to head out of the city. Check out The Obstinate Daughter if you head that way
Maybe you're feeling a relaxing day at the beach!
Ancient live oak tree that's thought to be the oldest in the country
Take a leisurely stroll across the bridge
Worked up an appetite yet? This is one of Garrett and Bea's favorites. We recommend going at opening for brunch as there can be a long wait. Note that they are not open on Sundays.
Great for brunch - Get a Bloody Mary and the Buffalo cauliflower!
Perfect for a quick morning bite
Get the okonomiyaki!
For those of you (especially the northerners!) looking for some good BBQ, Rodney Scott's is a great option
Maybe it's time for an afternoon ice cream?
Ready for happy hour? Stop by this cute wine bar for a glass of wine and charcuterie and you won't be disappointed
You’ll feel like you’re on a tropical island!
Classic cocktail bar but there may be a wait. Put your name down and head over to Little Palm first.
Best rooftop bar in the city! Grab a mai-tai and soak up the views of Charleston
Another favorite of ours! It's a little off the beaten path (and FYI only serves beer and wine), but we can't recommend it enough. They don't take reservations but worth the wait. Head over early for dinner to put your name down.
Known as "SNOB" and where we went after Garrett proposed! You can see a picture from that night at the top of this page.
FIG or "Food is Good" is the talk of the town. If you'd like a reservation, you should make one on resy a month out. If you can't snag one, you can try the bar!
The Ordinary is the seafood counterpart to FIG and while we have yet to try it, we feel confident in our recommendation!
If you've heard of any restaurants in Charleston, you've probably heard of Husk! We celebrated Garrett’s 30th birthday here and it lives up to the hype
If you are looking for an ultra special very unique experience, check out the restaurant at Zero George and you won't be disappointed. Feeling extra fancy? Make a reservation at their new champagne and caviar bar!
Not ready to end your night yet? Stop by the Peninsula Grill for a piece of coconut cake (and a glass of champagne)! Especially if you're staying at Planter's inn, you don't want to miss out.
For those of you staying at the Hyatt, this is right at your doorstep and perfect for a nightcap
