School House Beach is one of only five beaches of its kind worldwide with its smooth limestone rocks instead of sand. It's the most popular beach on Washington Island and a must see!
This lavender farm has a retail shop and cafe. You can visit the beautiful lavender fields even though they are out of bloom.
This is directly across the street from Trinity Lutheran Church were the ceremony will be. The idea to construct a Stavkirke emerged in part because of the island's rich Scandinavian heritage. It was modeled after the Borgund Stavkirke constructed in 1150 AD near Laerdal, Sogn. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no admission fee, but there are donation boxes inside and outside of the Stavkirke.
Sand Dunes Park is home to a beautiful white sand dune beach, on the island's southwest shoreline. There is a brief, up-hill walk to to get to the top of the main dune.
People's Park is a small park with an amazing view. Perfect spot to watch the sunset! The park is located on the norwest side of the island and overlooks Green Bay waters from the top of a high bluff. There is no water access from this park, but there are picnic tables and a grill.

This is located right as you come off the ferry. They offer kayak rentals, kayak tours, stand-up paddle board rentals, UTV and E-bike rentals. The Point Grille is also there for a bite to eat!

Washington Island Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 9-12. You can find Island-grown fresh produce and flowers, honey, delectable baked goods and fresh bread, handcrafted jewelry, soaps, candles and more!
The best (and only) family-owned grocery store on the Island. Has a deli with homemade salads and sandwiches along with an in-store bakery with fresh baked bread, muffins, and sweets. They are open every day of the week!
One-stop-shop that has a huge selection of Washington Island apparel, souvenirs, and homemade fudge. It's also a hardware store and has gas pumps out back!
