We are embarrased to admit that we met at Gnats Landing! We were both out with mutual friends and started talking. Josh went to take me back to my car and his truck broke down in the middle of the road at about 2:00 am! I offered to walk, but he insisted he'd get it figured out. He did and it's all history from there.

Amanda here! Josh worked with my mom to plan the perfect proposal. We went to my favorite beach to look for seashells. Josh said, "Hey babe! Check this one out!" When I turned around, Josh was on one knee. What I didn't realize until later was that my mom used a shell that she had found on the beach, previously, to hold the ring in place. The proposal was photographed and everyone went out to have lunch on the water with my Grandparents. When we arrived, there were huge balloons with "She said yes" written on them! Josh wanted to be sure that my parents and grandparents were a part of the special moment since I don't get to see them often. The day ended with a Florida Panthers hockey game and a congratulatory announcement on the jumbotron above the ice!
