FAQs

Question

What are our wedding colors?

Answer

Blush Pink, Navy Blue, Rose Gold, Mint Green

Question

Will guests be allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

The simple answer is No. We will have two photographers on site to capture all the photos of the ceremony. We don't want to see anyone holding up their cell phone because we want you to be present at our wedding and really be involved in the moment. You can't do that if you're staring at your camera screen, so don't waste your battery life. Enjoy the moment, and bring some tissues. After the conclusion of the ceremony(this means AFTER we have walked back down the aisle as husband and wife), you can take as many pictures as your phone memory can possibly hold. Thank you in advance.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Smart Casual. Guys: Khakis or slacks. Suit jacket or tie optional. No jeans please. Ladies: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, more casual maxi dresses, whatever you prefer. Just no ball gowns.

Question

Can I bring a change of clothes for later?

Answer

Of course! We just ask that you wait until the bride and groom have changed as well. (This will be near the end of the reception, before the after party.)

Question

Will there be a kids table?

Answer

Yes! We will also have a basket full of activities to keep younger children occupied throughout the evening.

Question

Why is there only a Honeymoon Fund in your registry?

Answer

Ben and I have realized that collectively we have accumulated all the things we'll really need to fill our own place when we get married. Between the two of us we have more than enough towels, kitchen appliances, furniture, and trinkets than we could possibly need to furnish a home for two people, so in lieu of building a registry filled with expensive gifts, we are asking that you consider contributing to our honeymoon fund. Instead of planning a honeymoon on top of planning our wedding, we've decided to wait a little while and adjust to married life in our usual setting before we venture out of our comfort zone. Our plan is to wait until the Spring after we get married to go on our first big adventure as husband and wife, and we would be so grateful if you could help us get there.

Question

Will there be drinking?

Answer

Yes! For the reception we have 24 bottles of Monchhof Reisling and 6 Pinot Noir Bota Boxes. We will also be getting a half keg of Miller Lite. If you would like to bring anything else, we will have coolers around to keep drinks cold.

Question

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

To help us make sure we have enough food, chairs, tables, favors, etc. please RSVP by October 5th.

Question
