Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

We will be providing transportation from the wedding Mass at Gate of Heaven to the wedding reception at Artist for Humanity. We are planning for the shuttles to leave 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Mass. If you are driving there is parking at the church, and parking for the reception is available Channel Center Garage, 116 W First St. Sarah is a big fan of the buses in South Boston, if you need to get from the Cambria Hotel to Gate of Heaven, the 9 and 10 will take you right there, get off at the E Broadway and I St.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a guest’s name, they are warmly invited to attend with you. Otherwise, our space limitations do not account for any additional people.

Can I attend the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our loved ones! While we wish we could include everyone in every event, some celebrations are reserved for specific invited guests. Your invitation will indicate which events you’re invited to join.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to join us in celebrating in formal attire, black tie optional. Think suits or tuxedos for gentlemen and formal dresses or gowns for ladies. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone looking their best! Please also plan for cold weather with appropriate outerwear; there will be a coat check at all venues.

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

We kindly encourage guests to dress in cocktail attire—think suits or dress shirts for gentlemen and cocktail dresses or dressy outfits for ladies.

How should I participate in Mass if I'm not Catholic?

Answer

All guests are warmly welcomed to attend the Mass (it is the wedding after all!). While participation in the Eucharist is for those who are Catholic, we encourage everyone to participate in the prayers and reverence of the celebration!

We’ve reserved several room blocks at nearby hotels for your convenience. Please visit the Travel section of our website for booking links, rates, and deadlines. We recommend booking early, as winter travel can get busy!

What time should I arrive to the wedding Mass?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the Mass begins so you have time to be seated. The ceremony will start promptly.
