Wedding Party

Meet our friends who have always been there for us.

Joe Thomas

Best Man

Nate and Joey met in elementary school when they both ran track for Diablo Valley Track & Field Club. Joey was the best athlete on the team and Nate was....not. Over the years they became close and ended up being teammates through middle school, high school and college. Joey was a best friend and big brother to Nate through all of it. Nate followed in Joey's footsteps at Cal quite literally. They both started as members of the track team and then became brothers at SAE. The bond only grew stronger and they remain best friends to this day.

Scott Abbott

Groomsman

Scott and Nate met in sixth grade on the basketball court. They immediately bonded over sports and other shenanigans. Subsequently, they got into a fair amount of trouble over the next 6 years. From TPing houses (and schools) to sneaking a few drinks at friends families Christmas parties they always had a great time. Scott and Nate sat next to each other in every English and History class in High School and Nate had to watch Scott spend at least $600 on school cafeteria cookies over those four years. They then visited each other regularly in college and stayed in touch during Scott's exploration of the world thereafter. They remain great friends to this day.

Sean Nixon

Groomsman

Sean met Nate met and became friends in Elementary School. The first week of high school they got into a fight. They were separated by the Vice Principals of the school who asked what they would each do if they were suspended from school. Sean and Nate both responded that they would only hang out together and play video games if they were suspended. They stayed close throughout high school and college when they visited each other every year. After college, Sean and Nate lived together in Walnut Creek. Sean was there when Nate and Kim met. Kim basically lived with them during the first six months that she and Nate dated.

Patrick Lynch

Groomsman

Patrick and Nate met on the Track team at Cal. Subsequently, Nate joined Patrick's fraternity. After college they traveled to Italy, Morocco, Spain, England and Mexico together. Nate and Kim have spent New Years Eve with Patrick and his Girlfriend, Oriel pretty much every year since they have been dating and look forward to many more trips in the future.

Bryan Perkins

Groomsman

Bryan and Nate met in high school through mutual friends and a mutual hatred of their English teacher Mrs. Challacomb. After high school, Bryan and Nate visited each other at Chico State and Cal (respectively) multiple times every year. Bryan moved to Hawaii with his then girlfriend, now wife, Jackie after college and Nate visited them in their Honolulu apartment. When Bryan moved back to California he and Nate remained close friends. In recent years Bryan and Jackie have joined Nate and Kim for camping trips every summer.

Robbie Pestal

Groomsman

Robbie and Nate first met in elementary school. They bonded over the fact that they both could throw a football better than the average kid. In middle school Robbie beat Nate out for the starting quarterback position on the school football team. They became close in high school where they were both standout athletes in their respective sports. Nate and Robbie visited each other at Cal and Oregon every year during college and have remained close ever since. Through the good times and the bad Robbie has always been a loyal friend to Nate.

Mackenzie Turner

Maid of Honor

Mack, Kim's oldest friend, has been there from the beginning. Since sixth grade, Mack and Kim have been there for each other, from soccer games to first loves and everything in between. Mack has always been a confidante and Kim's go to person when she needs someone to lean on. They have continued their strong bond into adulthood and the next chapter in their lives.

Tiffany Ryan

Bridesmaid

Tiffany is one of Kim's dearest friends. Their friendship started at Kim's first job in high school at El Charro in Lafayette (RIP). They quickly grew from high school friends to college roomates where they lived together for three years in Santa Barbara. Tiffany has remained one of Kim's closest friends as Kim was a Bridesmaid in Tiffany's wedding and now Tiffany is one in hers.

Leighann Ramkumar

Bridesmaid

Leigh and Kim first met from mutual friends while partying in Santa Barbara and she quickly grew to one of Kim's closest friends. Leigh and Kim lived together in San Francisco after Kim lived on Leigh's couch in Santa Barbara (lol). The friendship grew even closer when they were roommates in the city. Leighann actually convinced Kim to go to the football game where Kim met Nate. Without her, this wedding would not be happening.

Devon Yanofsky

Bridesmaid

Devon is one of Kim's first friends from college and remains one of her best friends to this day. Devon introduced Kim to her love of live music by taking her to music festivals and concerts. Devon and Kim have been there for each other through the ups and downs of their 20s and continue to be there for each other going forward.

Jordyn Newland

Bridesmaid

Jordyn and Kim's friendship began when they were both flipping burgers in college at Kahuna Grill (lol jk, we were just serving them). From co-workers, Jordyn and Kim grew into close friends. Jordyn and Kim have continued their close friendship and have relied on each other through the roller coaster of the last decade. She continues to be one of the shoulders Kim can lean on.

Alex Peterson

Bridesmaid

Alex and Kim met in the airport...when Kim showed up with too much luggage to be moving to a tropical island. Alex thought Kim was ridiculous. Later the judgement grew to friendship where Alex and Kim became inseparable. Alex and Kim worked, lived and traveled together while living halfway across the world. From the beaches of Guam to the streets of San Francisco, Alex and Kim have always been there for each other.
