Separated by twelve years, it was not always easy for the "Brown Boys" to mesh well in the early days. As time marched on, just as we grew--so did our bond. Twenty-five plus years of Brotherhood and only one fight!! Hard to believe, isn't it?!? There is a mutual respect and admiration between the two of us, along with constant love, frequent laughter and strong liquor!! He has been the BEST uncle in the world to my children. He is the BEST brother on the planet. He is also the BEST co-signer to all of my shenanigans!! He is my BEST MAN!!

Brandi and I met in a course during our sophomore year at ASU. Overtime, hanging out and constantly crossing paths, our casual association grew into a close friendship. Upon our completion of college, Brandi and I became "roomies" and the transition from college girls into becoming single independent women GOT REAL! Through the good and bad, laughing together, crying together, those intimate moments developed into the sisterhood we have today. She is a continuous support and encouragement for me and me for her. Brandi is a beautiful, mature, loved, admired, voice of reason for me. Although we are not blood sister's the love and respect, I have for her cannot make us any closer. That is why Brandi aka "Bran-Bran" (My mom calls her) and "Sha-ta" (My dad calls her) is the Maid of Honor.

Maurice has been one of my closet friends for over twenty years, every since our sophomore year at Greenbrier High School. Over the years, "Reese" and I have shared many momentous occasions and events together. I am Godfather to his oldest, A'Mare Monet, while he is Godfather to my son, Seddrick, II. And the younger of my twins, Kayla Reese, holds his namesake. From the all day/night basketball marathons at Riverside and setting school records in the 4x1 relay, to Outkast At-Last with the ladies and family sleepovers, allowing our children to bond just as we have. "Reese" has been and is understood to continue to be a constant fixture in my life. This is why he is a Best Man.

I met Chantel in the breezeway of the JSAC at Augusta State University. Over the time I realized our unplanned introduction was a divine connection. Our spirits and personalities just connected, in additional to us having so much in common, from our openness (Just keep it real!), love for working out, and pure desire to live our best life. I believe Chantel was born by the Spirit to be my sister here on earth. And like any big sister, I want to protect her as much as possible. Regularly I must remind myself she is a grown, independent, beautiful woman that can hold her own. She is a phenomenal mother (To my godson, Joshua) and wife. She is family, a daughter and sister in the Henderson family. This is why Chantel is a Matron of Honor.

What started out as a young "Alpha" coming to seek some guidance with our Chapter, has blossomed into one of my most cherished relationships. The Honda (Inside joke)! Through the journey of life, we have remained not only best friends but sisters. I am the godmother of Carmen's son, Skyler, and daughter, Olivia. The best description of our relationship is "what's understood don't need to be explained". In Kendall, Carmen's husband voice, "THAT'S FAM RIGHT THERE!" We encourage each other, balance each other, and sometimes we disagree with each other but the foundation for our friendship remains consistent & solid. Between classes we would meet in the cafeteria and talk about our course load and the craziness we saw walking by (LOL! Oh chile). As we explored what we wanted to do in life we took as many class as possible together. Whitney decided to go to KSU during their undergraduate years but we remain connected, calling or texting staying up to date on family and personal life. In all our changes in life we continue to be an avid support and encouragement for one another, praying, loving, & motivating one another. Damian is actually a friend of Brittany's that has become a friend of my own. It was Brittany, along with Best Buy that brought Damian and I into each other's worlds. Things have never be the same. Upon Brittany's decision to pursue her masters from Kennesaw State University after graduating from ASU, Brittany and I connection remained consistent despite the distance between us. Snell was a positive advocate and motivator in my decision to obtain my Master in Business Administration. And we continue to encourage each other to be greater.
