FAQs

FAQS If you have any additional questions that are not listed or answered on this page, please feel free to reach out directly to the bride or groom!
Question

How and When Should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. We will also include a paper RSVP with the formal invitation if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us! All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". We ask that you kindly RSVP by June 1, 2026.

Question

What if I RSVP'D and Can't Make It?

Answer

You will be missed! Life happens, no worries. Please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible that you will no longer be in attendance.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do!! However, due to venue limitations, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only (21+) celebration. The only exceptions are the little ones in our wedding party. We hope this notice is enough time for you to make arrangements to take the night off and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I Bring A Date/Plus One?

Answer

In effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. Your formal invitation will be made out to "Your Name & Guest" if you received a plus one - they will also appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please reach out with any questions!

Question

What is the Attire?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! So we are requesting that all of our guests dress in semi-formal.

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you 😉

Question

Where Do I Park?

Answer

Parking in Patchogue is challenging. To ensure a smooth experience, we have hired Check Valet to manage guest parking. Vehicle registration will open on July 10th. Please set a reminder in your calendar and follow these steps to register: 1. Visit check-valet.com. 2. Click on "Private Events." 3. Scroll to Shands General/The State Room and enter the event code: 7WEDDING2526 4. Provide your vehicle details and select an arrival time. Please note that slots for each arrival time are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 5. On the day of the event, arrive at your selected time at The State Room entrance on Havens Ave. Check Valet will park your vehicle using their Automated AI Smart Text platform. To retrieve your car, simply click the link in your text messages and select "RETRIEVE NOW." Arrival slots begin at 6:00 PM and occur every 10 minutes until 7:30 PM. Spreading out arrivals will help prevent congestion and ensure a seamless experience for everyone.

Question

Had a little too much to celebrate, what are my options for getting home safely?

Answer

Check Valet offers two options to ensure everyone gets home safely: - Option 1: Safe Home Valet – A valet professional will drive you home in your own car and return via ride share. Availability is limited. (Average $100–$200) - Option 2: Midnight Car Delivery – A valet professional will deliver your car to your driveway by 5:00 AM the next morning. (Average $50–$100) If you have any questions or would like to book a Safe Home Service, please contact Check Valet directly at 631-972-0797. Uber and Lyft are also great options. We love you all so much, and your safety means everything to us. Please do not drink and drive. If needed, we will help figure something out.
