Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the day. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have limited seating and a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/daytime spring cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, please check out our Travel and Accommodations page for all the information you need. A shutter is also available from and to the venue.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about 30 minutes. Guests can head to the designated Cocktail area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages (including a full bar).

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the same place. The ceremony outdoor under a covered area with circulating fans. The reception will be held indoor. Parking is free.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BazilLove042022 or #BazilLove so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, Buffet Style including the following; Stewed Chicken, Grilled Steak, Haitian Style Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Veggie Rice, Salad and Bread. An assortment of water, juice, soda and a full bar.
