We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you.

We met in an unusual way… in person! Especially considering that we were at the tail end of a global pandemic when it happened. Our mutual friends had asked Josh and his truck to come over and help move an item into their garage. While Josh had known these friends for years, Lauren had only recently met them. The lack of face to face contact brought upon by pandemic isolation had forced her to cross her apartment threshold and ask if she could join her neighbors who were having a drink on the patio. Patio gatherings became a regular occurence and new friendships were forged. The night in question, our friends thought we might hit it off so they sat us next to each other in the garage. It was easy and fun and filled with lots of laughter! As time went on, and the more we got to know each other, the more we discovered how much we had in common. It had taken us a while to find each other but we both knew pretty early on that we had finally found our person. Fast forward a few months, a short engagement, and on November 21, 2022 we walked down to the beach and had a small ceremony. And now we’re excited that we finally get to celebrate with you!
