What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Ladies should wear at a minimum a cocktail dress/pant suit, and gentlemen should wear pants (no jeans) and a button down shirt at a minimum. Although the wedding is at a resort in Mexico, please note it still is an elegant affair. The bride and groom kindly request that guests do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, cream, etc!

How many days should I stay and when should I stay?

Answer

We have blocked up to 5 days and there is a minimum of 3 nights for the room block. For 3 nights we recommend you stay Thursday, 5/29 through Sunday, 6/1.

What if I want to stay less than 3 nights or book outside the room block?

Do I need to stay at the Secrets Akumal to attend the wedding?

Yes, to attend the wedding, you must stay at Secrets Akumal.

Is the Secrets Akumal all inclusive and what is included?

Answer

Yes, Secrerts Akumal is all inclusive. Everything onsite is included with your stay, restaurants and meals, top-shelf drinks to endless day and nighttime activities.

What is NOT included with the travel block booking?

Answer

Flights & transfer from airport to hotel & vice versa. However, while booking there is an option to add hotel transfers that will be private to the wedding group. A cheaper recommendation for hotel transfers is Kalido Travel.

Do I get a +1?

Answer

At this time, only those named on the invitation will be extended an invite, as we have a limited capacity due to the venues we are utilizing at the resort. Please see the RSVP section to see who is named on the invitation. For further questions, please reach out to Bayleigh or Forrest.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

You can fly into either Cancun or Tulum! Just make sure you book the transportation to/from the right airport.

Do I have to book the transfer within the wedding block?
