When should I submit my RSVP?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by Sunday, October 26, 2025. RSVPs are accepted electronically through our wedding website. Please visit the RSVP tab on our website to provide your response.

Question

What should I do if I can't attend?

Answer

Kindly respond "no" to the RSVP as soon as possible. We would love to have everyone attend, but we understand there may be schedule conflicts.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-and-teens (16+) celebration, with the exception of children in the bridal party. We hope you enjoy the evening as a special date night!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes "and guest," then yes! Otherwise, we're only able to accommodate those listed in your party when you RSVP.

When and where is the Prieur wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on December 20, 2025 at Winchester Estate in Meadow Vista, California. The ceremony begins promptly at 3 p.m., with cocktails, dinner, and dancing to follow.

Where's the nearest airport and hotel to the venue?

Answer

The closest airport to Winchester Estate is Sacramento International Airport (SMF), about a 30 minute drive. We have reserved a hotel block at Hotel Vista Sierra, with a special rate for our guests! The hotel is about a 12-minute drive from our venue. For additional travel details or to reserve a room, please visit the Travel tab on our website.

What should I do if I miss the deadline to reserve a room that's part of the room block?

Answer

The deadline to reserve a room in our hotel block is Saturday, November 15, 2025. If you miss the deadline, please reach out to Hotel Vista Sierra and mention our wedding anyway - they MAY be able to accommodate you with our discount. If not, there are other hotels in the area nearby that you can book!

What's the weather in Meadow Vista like during December?

Answer

Typically, daily highs in Meadow Vista during December are between 50 and 60 degrees. However, there will be patio heaters and a fireplace available for guests to enjoy and keep warm during cocktail hour and the reception. We also recommend to bring a nice coat for that extra layer of warmth!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Or both?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on a grassy area overlooking the beautiful meadow. Stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. Please note guests will walk down a set of stairs to access seats on the grass. There is an accessible ramp to get to the ceremony space for those with ADA needs. Our cocktail hour will be outdoors on the patio under string lights. Please note there are heaters and a fireplace provided in this space, but not for our ceremony. Our reception will take place indoors.

What happens if it's raining the morning of the wedding?

Answer

We’re hoping for beautiful winter skies, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a cozy indoor backup plan for our ceremony. We'll keep the celebration going without a hitch! The cocktail hour will remain outdoors, but moved to the front of the clubhouse, under a covered awning with heaters and a fireplace.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to wear cocktail attire. Don't forget to bring a nice coat to keep you warm during the outdoor ceremony. For women, a floor or ankle length dress, dressy skirt and top, or nice pantsuit. Please avoid wearing white or prints with white. For men, a suit or button-up shirt with a jacket and slacks. Ties are optional.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Please arrive at the venue no later than 2:30 p.m. to have enough time to be seated before our 3 p.m. ceremony. We will be running right on schedule, and we would love for everyone to be present at the very start of our union!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, we will not be providing transportation.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available on-site and is free for all guests. The entrance to the ceremony space will be near the country club's shop. As you drive in, the shop is located on the lefthand side of the building. There will be signs to guide you where to enter the venue.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony with incredible photographers taking professional pictures to capture this moment. We ask our guests to please keep all phones and cameras put away until after we say “I do!” Once the ceremony concludes, please take all the pictures you'd like and share them with us!

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar for our guests to enjoy responsibly. The bar is fully stocked with soda, water, beer, wine, cocktails, and our signature drinks!

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free food options to enjoy?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please email prieurwedding2025@gmail.com as soon as possible, but no later than November 9, 2025. We will ensure our caterer has options for all of our guests to enjoy, as we don't want anyone feeling hangry!
