When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Gentlemen may wear dress shirts and slacks (ties or jackets optional), and ladies are welcome to wear cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Due to limited parking at the venue, ceremony guests are kindly asked to park at Beulah Baptist Church (670 Hickman Rd NW, Calabash, NC 28467) — just half a mile away. A complimentary shuttle will provide transportation to and from the venue. Reception guests may park directly at Slate & Cypress, as parking will be available on-site.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM, but we ask our ceremony guests to arrive at Beulah Baptist Church (670 Hickman Rd NW, Calabash, NC 28467) to accommodate parking between 2:30–3:00 PM to allow time for taking the shuttle and finding your seat. Shuttles will be available before and after the ceremony — please hop on early and relax!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and celebration, we kindly ask that our wedding be adults only. We’re so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to share this day with you!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! If your invitation includes a plus one, their name (or “and guest”) will appear on your envelope and RSVP.
