What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue at 3:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 4pm.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, our menu includes gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We prefer no kids under the age of 13. If you have younger children, we will be streaming the ceremony online.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you’d like to stay on the Washington side of the river, we’d recommend these hotels: Holiday Inn Express Vancouver North - Salmon Creek, an IHG Hotel Homewood Suites by Hilton Vancouver-Portland If you prefer to stay closer to the venue, they have recommended these hotels to us: Courtyard by Mariott SE Portland Hotel Lucia Residence Inn by Mariott The Monarch The Royal Sonesta The Sentinel

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We have 135 parking spaces available. If you decide to leave your car overnight, the venue does NOT tow cars left behind and you can pick it up the next day.

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the same location: The Aerie at Eagle Landing 10220 SE Causey Ave Happy Valley, OR 97086

Is the venue wheelchair/ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes it is! There is a side entrance by the parking lot that will lead to the elevator. The main event space is upstairs.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned for outside but backup arrangements are in place in case of rain. The reception will be under cover.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Early May in the Pacific Northwest can be pretty unpredictable. It will likely still be cool but prepare for anything from 50°F and raining to 70°F and sunny (that’s 10°C and 21°C for our friends traveling internationally).

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

We have not reserved room blocks, please refer to the question about hotels if you need a recommendation.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire (but we have mini-golf and axe throwing so bring some comfortable reception shoes!)

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to avoid?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing dark emerald green, groomsmen wearing light gray. We’d recommend avoiding those if you don’t want to get mistaken for someone else.
