Camerin and Baya’s love story began in May of 2025 on a silly dating app. At first, Baya wasn’t quite sure about Camerin, but Camerin was sure about her. He stayed persistent, patient, and intentional, determined to show her he was worth the chance. Their very first date was supposed to be something out of a dream, meeting in Hawaii. But life had other plans, and the trip didn’t happen the way they imagined. Instead, when they both returned home, their real first date turned out to be far less glamorous and far more unforgettable: picking up dog poop while Baya was house-sitting. It wasn’t tropical beaches or sunset dinners, but to Camerin, it was perfect. In that simple, messy, ordinary moment, he knew he wanted it to be her. Eight months later, the two finally took the trip they had once planned. This time, they made it to Hawaii together. They walked along the beach, laughing about how far they’d come since that not-so-glamorous first date. As they stopped to take pictures by the ocean, Camerin dropped to one knee in the sand. With the waves behind them and the future in front of them, he asked Baya to marry him. And this time, Hawaii was exactly how it was meant to be; the beginning of forever.
