What is the Dress Code?

Our dress code is formal or black-tie optional. Our theme/color scheme is moody, vintage, romantic, deep-set jewel tones.

Important info regarding the Church

Answer

The bathrooms, elevator access, and coat racks are all located in the basement. The basement of the Church is accessible through the side door that nears Holy Redeemer’s parking lot. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Please arrange to arrive early to find parking and situate your seating.

Will it be a Catholic Ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass, and we welcome any and all to attend! We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. Even if you are not Catholic, we would love for everyone to attend the ceremony. There will be program booklets with readings and songs to follow. We ask that if you are not a practicing Catholic, a fellow Christian but not Catholic, or not Christian, that you do not receive the Eucharist. Instead, please feel free to come forward to receive a blessing from the Priest by crossing your arms over your chest. You may also stay in the pew if that is most comfortable to you!

Where will the reception be?

Answer

The reception will be at Memorial Union's Great Hall on the 4th floor at time to be announced. There will be accessible elevators for those that wish to use them.

Open Bar?

Answer

We will have an open (hosted) bar for beer and wine only. If you want a cocktail/mixed drink, that will be available as a cash bar.
