You are our biggest fans and we couldn't imagine starting our next chapter as husband and wife without each of you.

When asked how we met, we are pretty consistent with the same response - we have no idea. Anyone who grew up in South St. Louis knows that this is often true for anyone else you may "know" or are friends with from your childhood or highschool years. At some point along the way, our "knowing" of eachother led to interest on Kayla's part, which played out as a crush for several years before our first date. The real defining moment for our future was in July of 2015 at the annual Brockman Luau when Kayla's friend, Rachel, was determined to set us up on a date. This was done by several swims back and forth in the pool before Kayla FINALLY agreed to consider it. Our first date was a couple weeks later at a St. Louis Cardinals game. Fast forward to October, Kevin invited Kayla to join him at a friend's wedding, where he casually asked "what are we?" during dinner. At this point, Kayla knew Kevin was "the one," but in true Kayla fashion, succesfully dodged the question when Kevin's friend asked him to go get a drink at the bar. The rest is history and we picked an anniversary date of October 7, 2015! Looking back through the years we enjoyed several milestones and adventures together - moved in together in July 2017, bought our first home in August 2018, traveled to Mexico, Colorado, Tennessee, Kansas, Kentucky (to name a few!), until our BEST trip in September 2019 to San Diego, California where we got engaged! Knowing Kayla's love of travel, Kevin planned the most perfect weekend in San Diego "for Kayla's birthday" which started off with a proposal when we arrived at our Airbnb. We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating and exploring San Diego, we can’t wait to go back!
