Morgan and Alex met through a dating app not long after Morgan moved to Charlotte. They exchanged numbers and followed each other on social media but never actually met or went on a date. A year or so after exchanging numbers and silently following each other on social media, Alex posted a concert he was at on Snapchat. At the time Morgan didnt know what the song was so she googled the lyrics looking for a way to strike up a conversation. She responded to Alex’s post asking if it was a Kane Brown concert. They talked for a few weeks and then decided to go on a date. The rest was history.
Morgan is from Georgia and by nature a Falcons fan. Alex is from North Carolina and was raised a Panthers fan. Falcons fans will never live down the time they lost a 28-3 lead in the Superbowl. March 28th is a sad day for all Falcons fans because well, 3/28. On March 28th Alex woke up and went fishing with his dad. Morgan cleaned the house and when Alex got home he went and did some yard work so Morgan decided she was going to get ready for the day. When Alex finished yard work, he went and showered and then told Morgan he wanted to celebrate March 28th. Morgan was relunctant to want to celeberate because all Falcons fans try to block those horrible super bowl memories out of their mind. Alex asked Morgan to come outside but was very specific about leaving the dogs inside. Morgan went to go out back where Alex was holding up a score board flag of the Falcons superbowl loss and Morgan let the dogs out. By the time Morgan realized what was happening the dogs were running around the corner barking at the photographers Alex had asked to be there and Alex was on one knee. He wanted to make a date in Morgan’s mind that wasn’t very great something special to her.
