Ponce City Market
Located in the historic Sears, Roebuck & Co. building in Atlanta, this adaptive reuse project is one of Chris & Steph's favorite places to stroll around on the weekends. Check out the local vendor popups at Citizens Supply upstairs, or grab a bite at any of the delicious restaurants in the food hall downstairs - special shoutouts to El Super Pan, Botiwalla, H&F Burger, Minero and Ton Ton.
Decatur Square
Visit the scenic center of town in Decatur, Georgia, where Stephanie and Chris moved in January 2021. Highlights include Jeni's ice cream, Iberian Pig tapas, and Brick Store Pub, which has an amazing selection of world beers.
Skyline Park
Positioned on the rooftop of Ponce City Market is Skyline Park, where you can enjoy boardwalk style games, rides and a gorgeous skyline view! You do have to pay an entrance and game fee, but it's totally worth it.
Majestic Diner
Very close to the Clermont Hotel, the no-frills Majestic Diner has been serving breakfast in Atlanta's Poncey-Highland neighborhood since 1929. Get there early for the until-they're-gone biscuits!
Piedmont Park
Walk around the park to get a glimpse at what Atlanta is all about. Be sure to checkout the dog park, the noguchi playscape, the lake and the bamboo forest!
Krog Street Market
Similar to Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market is an adaptive reuse space that houses several restaurants and an awesome bottle shop. While it used to be home to Atlanta Stove Works, a pot-belly stove and iron-pan factory, and then later Tyler Perry Studios, it now offers some delicious bites from our favorite vendors like Jeni's Ice Cream and Yalla.
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
Grab a bite to eat at Ladybird! This camping themed indoor/outdoor restaurant on the belt line is one of Steph & Chris' favorite spots to sit back, relax and people watch. Try the redneck mimosa and the grits.
