We're Getting Married!

Although they didn't know at the time, Alyssa and Codey lived in the same neighborhood in Menifee, CA and even went to the same school when they were young. Alyssa's dad's job was transferred to Bakersfield, CA in 1996 where they then moved. Through family friends, Alyssa and her family were invited to drive out to Glamis, CA in November of 2002 to camp. Alyssa and Codey met on this camping trip and the rest was history. The following year they went on this same camping trip and Codey finally had the courage to ask Alyssa for her number. This is when landlines were still a thing and their parents would sneak onto the phone call to try to take a listen of what these two kids were talking about. Alyssa and Codey remained in touch for the next several years. They started dating in 2008 when Alyssa was a senior in high school and have been together since.
