We have two different stories about how we met... Here's Anthony's version...."I just met you [Maura] in my apartment complex." Here's Maura's version... "I noticed Anthony when he moved into the apartment across the street from me during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. I strategized my timing for when I went outside to grab my groceries and happened to 'run into' Anthony and welcomed him to the neighborhood. A few days later, he showed up on 'people you may know' on Facebook, which I thought was weird. Turns out, we had matched on a dating app prior to the pandemic and had exchanged phone numbers months earlier. Anthony swears he just 'forgot' to answer me back then, but I'm convinced he ghosted me. The pandemic crazies were setting in, so I not-so-creepily slid into his Instagram DMs. I very politely asked him to please not get a restraining order against me and mentioned that we knew each other from months prior and that I was pretty sure we were now neighbors. After he realized that I wasn't a scam bot, we got to talking, went on a number of 'socially distant' dates/walks/hikes and the rest is history!"
