Yes. Black Tie Optional. The black tie optional dress code is a step below traditional black tie. While it encourages formal wear, it doesn't strictly require tuxedos or floor-length gowns. Think of it as a guideline that suggests elegance without imposing rigidity. For men, a dark suit and tie or a tuxedo is ideal.
Yes it is! Which means hotels are hard to come by. Please book your room as soon as possible if you would like to stay at The Phelps Hotel or The Lytle Hotel. Other great options would be The Renaissance Inn and the AC Hotel at The Banks.
We love your kids as much as we love you. However, this is an adults only reception. There may be a few children of very close, traveling relatives but unless we have specifically asked for your children to attend we would like you to use this evening as a kid free night out.
Your invitation will be clearly marked if you are invited with a guest. We planned our wedding to be small and intimate. We only invited our family and close friends or else we would have loved to include your date. Thank you for understanding. We can’t wait to see you at the wedding!
There is plenty of parking available at the church. Parking will also be provided at the Queen City Club.
