What should I wear?

Answer

The attire for this event is semi-formal. Ladies should wear a nice dress or slacks while men should wear a suit and tie or a nice shirt and tie.

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Arkansas is kind of hit or miss, so it's hard to say. It will be June, so dress light in preparation of hotter weather and humidity.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at the Arkansas Sheriffs' Youth Ranch chapel. The reception will take place at their event center. Signs will be set up to lead the way to both.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests will drive over to the event center while the wedding party stays behind to take some photos. There will be some light refreshments laid out for you before the meal is served later on.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Both yes and no. Our wedding has some Harry Potter elements mixed into it, but it is far from Harry Potter themed. Therefore, please leave your Nimbus 2000's at home, but you can bring your wands for protection.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. If it is a few days from the wedding or the day of and you are feeling ill and unable to make it, please reach out to us by calling 870-612-0558 or 870-613-5949.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

It is recommended for guests to arrive to the ceremony 30-45 minutes early to ensure the ceremony starts on time. Those attending the reception only are recommended to arrive 20-30 minutes early.

What time does the ceremony start? The reception?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM while the reception will begin at 4:45 PM.

Where should I park? Will I have to pay for parking?

Answer

A section of grass outside of the chapel will be marked off for parking. For the reception area, there is a parking lot on the left that will be marked for parking. Parking will be free for guests.

Are kids welcome to attend?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you can relax and enjoy the evening, and we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

The RSVP deadline is May 5th, 2021. You can RSVP through this site under the tab labeled RSVP. If you would prefer to mail in your RSVP, please mail it back to this address: 199 Wilderness Drive Batesville, AR 72501

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you kindly turn off your ringers and refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

There will be a vegetarian option available. Please message 870-612-0558 or make note on your RSVP if you have any special needs or requests at least a week before the wedding.
