ECHO is an awesome kid-friendly nature and science museum located on the lakefront in Burlington. If you guys are looking for a fun and interactive family outing, this is the place to go. Check out their website to see what exhibits they have!
This location is the original Ben & Jerry's factory! You can check out the famous Flavor Graveyard, grab a scoop, or even enjoy a 30 minute factory tour (ranges from $1-$6/person). This location is on the same road as Cold Hollow Cider, the Cabot Cheese Annex, and is very close to von Trapp Brewing (yes, the von Trapps from The Sound of Music).
Cold Hollow is just down the road from Ben and Jerry's. Here you can grab lunch at their cafe, some fresh pressed apple cider, or some freshly made apple cider donuts. It's a fun stop to make that has a shop full of Vermont maple syrup and many other goodies you may want to take back home as well. They also have a newer hard-cider tasting room that adults can enjoy along with the other breweries in the area!
Started by the von Trapp family (yes, the "Sound of Music" von Trapps!), this bierhall is a fun and slightly historical stop for any beer lover! If you peak around you can see their entire brewing operation in action. Looking over a beautiful nature reserve in Stowe, it is only about 20 minutes away from the original Ben and Jerry's.
